About Sherry

Writing Experience – I have been writing since I was a child. I started writing in my diary when I was in the 4th grade and I kept a journal throughout high school. My diary and then my journal was my best friend. I am part of a writing group. We meet every Wednesday evening from 6 – 8pm at the Fork Cafe on Highway 61 in Charleston, South Carolina. Fork is open for lunch only and the owner, Margaret, is part of our writing group. She and her husband allow us to meet in their wonderful restaurant. If you are a writer and you are not a part of a writing group, I strongly recommend you find one. Our group of writers come from all walks of life and write a variety of pieces. We have a great time and learn a lot from each other. Wednesday evenings are special times in my life.

Best Selling Book

Natural Destiny

On February 22, 2013 I was honored and privileged to meet with over 1,200 6th, 7th and 8th grade students at Sweetwater Middle School in Lawrenceville, Georgia about Natural Destiny. Stay tuned for more information and pictures.

I am eager to present information about Natural Destiny to various groups. I have given presentations to the Rotary Club of Moncks Corner, the Kiwanis Clusb of Moncks Corner and Summerville and two Toastmasters, International clubs. The name of the presentation is “The Lost Art of Storytelling”. Contact me on my website if you are interested in me speaking to your group.

I have received a wonderful endorsement from Bret Lott, New York Times Best Seller author of Jewel. Check out Bret Lott’s website at the College of Charleston to learn more about his books.
